Afghan Air Force medics unload two patients from an ambulance as part of a casualty evacuation mission at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan May 14, 2013. This was the first-ever conduct CASEVAC mission on a Cessna 208 for the Kandahar Air Wing. AAF-wide, CASEVAC missions have increased 34 percent between December 2012 and April 2013. KANDAHAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Afghan National Army Special Operations commandos prepare to conduct a mission in Kandahar Province Feb, 20, 2013. The operation was conducted with the Afghan Air Force’s 379th Rotary Wing Squadron, which is advised by NATO Air Training Command-Afghanistan. The 379th RWS is part of the Kandahar Air Wing.
