The bridge of the Spaniards was completed by the Spainish Force’s Provincial Reconstruction Team in June 2005 for the people of Qala i Naw. The motorcycle bomb was located on the main access road to the capital of Badghis province. This action by the EOD team prevented an attack that could have caused civilian casualties.
